As part of DP World Grow program continuity, the success of which gives more desire to support young graduate employability and professional competency acquisition. DP World Dakar is launching a new challenge for young graduates with high potential (HIPO) wishing to join a multinational where performance and wellbeing at work are established as a corporate culture.
The Grow program, as explained in previous Grow editions, is part of DP World’s commitment to contribute to the development of the nationals of the communities where it operates with the target of young people qualified in all areas of skills required in business.
Through this program, DP World seeks to accelerate the growth of young local graduates by providing them with advanced training and field experience, in order to increase their future employment prospects, and to enable DP World Dakar to constitute a breeding ground for future leaders within the company.
Thus, DP World Dakar is recruiting ten (10) HIPO candidates (high potential) for this GROW program.
You are a recent graduate in Electromechanics, Electrical and Automation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Human Resources payroll, Ports and maritime Operations, Finance, Logistics and Supply chain .. you have great potential and unlimited motivation, DP World’s GROW program has a bright future in store for you!
Knowledge and skills required:
Master (or equivalent) in the fields mentioned above.
An excellent analytical approach to problem solving
Knowledge of asset management and container terminal management procedures
Some leadership skills
Good knowledge of web-based tools (online applications, social media, innovative tools)
Computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills, in French and English.
Strong interpersonal skills and good team spirit
Professional experience or first experience in a related sector would be an advantage
