Job description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Superintendent & Deputy Construction Manager to oversee the construction of an Off-Grid Solar + Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) 20MWp plant at our Grande Côte Operations. This position is integral to supervising electrical works and supporting overall project management.
You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality and safe construction, focusing on solar plant electrical systems, from installation to commissioning, while collaborating across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
We offer an 18-month fixed-term contract with a choice of 5/3 expat roster or residential arrangement.


Responsibilities
As Electrical Superintendent, you will:
• Supervise electrical works, including wiring, cable installations, and terminations.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage site logistics for electrical equipment and ensure conformity to technical specifications.
• Support the commissioning phase, including powering up systems and finalizing as-built documentation.
As Deputy Construction Manager, you will:
• Coordinate across project teams, contractors, and departments for construction planning and issue resolution.
• Oversee logistics for equipment and material deliveries.
• Lead and participate in safety and quality audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Monitor project progress and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.


Your profile
• 10+ years in superintendent roles, with significant experience in large electrical and international construction projects.
• Proven expertise in high-voltage installations, QA/QC, and brownfield modifications.
• Strong focus on worksite safety, environmental control, and materials management.
• Fluency in Wolof, French, and/or English is advantageous.
• Assertive, detail-oriented, and skilled in multicultural team collaboration.
