Summary
The Junior Sales Officer is responsible for managing and developing the customer portfolio and the CA for the assigned region.
What will be your responsibilities?
Overall responsibilities:
• Ongoing prospecting ;
• Customer strategy and follow-up ;
• Negotiation and machine sales ;
• Product knowledge ;
• Reporting.
Ongoing prospecting
• Prospect the designated market,
• Develop local customer portfolio,
• Report on business activity,
• Explore new business prospects for existing customers,
• Analyze and report on the competition’s market, their products and commercial offers (including team sharing),
• Regular delivery of reports.
Customer strategy and follow-up
• Support and implement the strategy defined in the territory according to the objectives assigned to the country,
• Maintain and improve customer relation,
• Regualr site visits to customers,
• Develop and maintain customer files on CRM,
• Develop the Cross Functional Team, particularly AFM, to ensure inter-departmental collaboration when submitting sales offers,
• Quality of information on CRM.
Negotiation and sale of machines
• Produce and negotiate machine quotations with customers under his/her responsibility,
• Ensure compliance with BIA Group regulations on financing and control of financial and legal risks,
• Ensure compliance and settlement of files for which he/she is responsible,
• Contribute to the achievement of the entity’s commercial objectives,
• Sales Construction SN,
• Gross margin.
Product knowledge
• Update information about manufacturers’ machines in order to respond effectively to customer needs,
• Ensure that you have the right information from the Sales Manager in your territory.
Reporting
• Establish and regularly monitor the Order Book which includes the various offers, in progressed and missed,
• Draw up a weekly report on the situation of customers and activities,
• Draw up a quarterly rolling forecast of sales.
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience
• At least 3 years’ sales experience in a similar sector;
• University degree (Bac +3) or equivalent gained through experience;
• Knowledge of sales techniques;
• Proficiency in office automation tools;
• General knowledge of finance;
• Experience with international organizations with a delocalized presence;
• Active knowledge in both English and French.
