Offshore Production Operator (Only for Locals)
Overall Job Purpose
Responsible for the safe and efficient operations of all production related systems by applying technical knowledge and by followingthe Integrated Management System (IMS) work instructions always under direction of the Central Control Room Operator and/or the Production Supervisor.
Core Responsibilities
• Act as Leader to all Production Operators as required and appointed by the Production Supervisor by using his/ her experience and knowledge for a world class operation.
• Commission/Decommission, start up, operate, monitor, shut down, prepare for maintenance and reinstate process and process-related equipment as required or under the direction of the CCR Operator and Production Supervisor.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of process plant, systems, and associated equipment during the shift have continuity by proper handovers to the next shift.
• Monitor the correct functioning of plant equipment and instrumentation by assisting on optimizing production and chemicals injection as required and instructed.
• Assist other departments and/or contractors as required and/or instructed by the supervisor.
• Take the assigned responsibilities by the Company Integrated Management Sytems, e.g Acting as Area authority as required; Acting as Isolation Authority as required, etc.
• Ensure the topsides are cleaned, organized and safe by checking worksites upon activities completion , and to ensure proper housekeeping are done.
• Perform the activities from CMMS as required by always applying the best industry standards.
• Provide faithful information to Modec managers with Production Supervisor awareness
• Assist in training of other operators by sharing knowledge and providing technical advice in order to develop the team.
• Demonstrate ownership of own training requirements and proactively arrange training to be done/renewed in time as per MODEC Integrated Management System.

Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification:
• High School Degree – Mandatory
• Technical School Degree – Expected.
• Engineering Degree – Optional

Trainings: Complies with the Training Matrix and Regulatory and Required by Modec Training Management Procedure, available in the Integrated Management System (IMS).
Relevant Experience:
• Minimum experience of 3 years on offshore Process Operations / experience Offshore oil and gas / FPSO experience during Operations Phase.
• Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing and utility systems.
• Experience on Permit-to-work system, isolations system and risk assessments.
