Logistician, MCC Senegal Reform Baseline Data Collection.

Project Objective
The Senegal Power Compact is a five-year Compact between the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the Government of Senegal (GoS). The Compact’s goal is to reduce poverty through economic growth, with a focus on the electricity sector. This evaluation focuses on the Reform Project, which aims to “create an enabling environment to enhance the financial viability of, and to ensure good governance in, the power sector, with the intent of improving the quality and quantity of electricity provided.” SI is leading an independent evaluation of the Compact’s Power Sector Reform Project. As a part of this evaluation, the SI team will be collecting baseline interview data in mid-November over the course of approximately two weeks.

The objectives of the baseline data collection and these key informant interviews (KIIs) are to:
• Understand the current status of the Reform Project implementation;
• Identify challenges and successes to date; and
• Explore future anticipated plans.

Position Description
SI is seeking a Logistician to support the Baseline data collection. The Logistician will be responsible for coordinating KII arrangements, including contacting stakeholders, and scheduling interviews. This is a part-time consulting position with a period of performance from October through November 2024.

Responsibilities
• Serve as primary point of contact for and oversee all logistical arrangements for Baseline data collection.
• Manage all scheduling and coordination of interviews with stakeholders.
• Organize a rolling set of in-person or hybrid meetings over the two-week data collection period.
• For virtual meetings, schedule and arrange meetings using Microsoft Teams.
• Maintain detailed tracking information regarding stakeholders contacted and meetings scheduled.


Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in a relevant discipline.
• Background in administration and/or logistics for donor-funded projects, workshops, and research studies.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and adhere to high quality standards.
• Strong professional written and verbal proficiency in French. Proficiency in English preferred.
