About the Role:
As the Government Relations Director, you will lead myAgro's efforts to build and sustain high-impact relationships with government stakeholders at national, regional, and local levels. You will design and execute a government engagement strategy that increases visibility, strengthens trust, and creates opportunities to scale our work through aligned partnerships. This role is critical to ensuring myAgro is recognized as a valued partner in agricultural and environmental development across the regions where we operate.
You will report directly to the Chief of Staff, while working closely with country teams in Senegal, Mali and Cte d'Ivoire to ensure coordinated and effective engagement at all levels of government. You will also collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment between government engagement efforts and myAgro's overall strategic vision.
You Will:
• Design and lead the implementation of a comprehensive government engagement strategy aligned with myAgro's goals and scaling plan.
• Partner with the Chief of Staff and Senior Leadership Team to integrate government engagement into broader organizational strategy.
• Identify and assess opportunities for strategic collaboration with Ministries of Agriculture, Environment, and related institutions
• Cultivate strong relationships with key national and regional government officials.
• Represent myAgro in government forums, donor roundtables, technical working groups, and high-level events.
• Act as the primary liaison for formal partnerships, MOUs, and collaboration agreements with government agencies.
• Monitor relevant policy developments and represent myAgro's interests in shaping an enabling environment for digital agriculture, climate-smart farming, and smallholder financing.

• Support cross-functional teams in understanding regulatory or procedural requirements related to government programs.
You Have:
• Fluency in English and French.
• 10+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or policy advocacy, preferably within agriculture, environment, or development.
• Proven track record of building high-level government partnerships that led to scalable impact.
• Understanding of the government landscape in Senegal and/or West Africa.
• Experience working in or with NGOs, social enterprises, or multilateral development actors
