The Global Humanitarian Surge Platform is looking to hire a resilient, top notch humanitarian professional in the field of Child Protection as a Child Protection (CP) Adviser.
The ideal candidate should have extensive prior experience in a broad range of humanitarian child protection experience, adaptability to new contexts, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work across sectors to integrate child protection.
Further, the CP Adviser will be expected to lead on Child Protection Rapid Assessments and/or Multi-Sectoral Assessments, assessment analysis, strategy, programme design, development, capacity building, implementation, interagency coordination.
The incumbent is required to have experience in working with core child protection guidelines and toolkits such as the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action, Interagency Guidelines for Case Management and Child Protection, and IASC GBV Guidelines.
The incumbent should be proficient in at least 2 languages; i.e. English would be a must have along with either French, Spanish or Arabic language(s).
