Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
Maintenance technicians (Mechanical and Electrical) are responsible for the following activities:
• Ensuring that all planned and unplanned maintenance activities are carried out on all equipment (generators, engines, and general auxiliaries) on site in accordance with the instructions and schedule of the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Team Leader;
• Preparing data reports for the Maintenance Team Leader and/or Supervisor;
• Keeping appropriate records of the parameters observed on site (operating hours/meters, operating parameters);
• Transmitting the correct information collected to the Team Leader and/or Supervisor in real time;
• Ensure proper handling and regular maintenance of tools;
• Ensure that advice is implemented and followed up before approval by line managers where necessary;
• Act promptly and responsibly in the event of a fire, alarm, or accident that may occur on site;
• Supervise and assist shift operators in carrying out their duties;
• Ensure maximum availability and profitability of all equipment under his/her responsibility;
• Inspect and assess any anomalies and remedy them.
• Immediately inform the Director of Operations of any anomalies observed;
• Take note of and ensure that advice and instructions from management are followed.
• Closely monitor stocks of HFO/LFO, lubricating oil, water, etc.;
• Ensure adequate and ongoing training for personnel under his/her responsibility;
• Be available for professional mobility;
• Communicate effectively with the shift team;
• Ensure that the “Work Authorization Process” is strictly adhered to and followed for all equipment before/after performing any task;
• Ensure and carry out all LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures for equipment before and after performing any task;
