About this role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the sales, business development, relationship enhancement, and projects coordination for the Electronic Payments services of Euronet within a defined region or countries in Africa (French Speaking African Countries).


Responsibilities
Manage the business development activities of Euronet Middle East Electronic Financial Transactions (EFT) outsourcing solutions and services to the Banking and Financial Sector:

• Master the value proposition, functionality and competitive advantages of Euronet EFT Outsourcing solutions that include: ATM Networks Solutions (Asset Purchase, Outsourcing, management, Network Participation) ; Merchant Management & Processing through a centralized acquiring infrastructure; Card Issuing & Processing (Debit Card Outsourcing, Credit Card Outsourcing, Prepaid Card Outsourcing) ; Other EFT related services such as Gateways, Electronic Payments, Money transfer, and more new Products & Services.
• Participate in developing and implementing direct sales plans in order to achieve the financial targets agreed with the Regional & Division management.
• Aggressively acquire new accounts/clients for the Euronet Portfolio of solutions and services.
• Build strong, direct relationships with existing and prospective clients and grow its profitably.
• Manage the proposal preparation and submission process with the support of internal services (Sales Support, Finance, Legal, and management).
• Coordinate with the Projects Delivery teams to ensure that projects are delivered according to client expectations and contractual responsibilities.
• Become proficient in the value proposition, functionality, implementation requirements and competitive alternatives to Euronet EFT solutions.
• Evaluate the local market and competition landscape.
• Participate in defining the short- and medium-term Business Development strategies:

• Develop and manage a direct sales plan based upon the financial targets agreed with the Regional management.
• Coordinate strategy and tactics with the Regional management for the development and achievement of aggressive targets, including an aggressive 3-year plan.
• Identify opportunities for top line growth and cost line reductions.
• Ensure an environment that promotes effective communications, positive employee relations and teamwork.
• Motivate, empower, develop and, as appropriate, recognize and reward Individual and team achievements.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external Stakeholders.

Requirements
• University degree. Professional training or degree in Sales or business administration will be considered an asset.
• Minimum 4 years of experience preferably in B2B sales within multinational providers of technology solutions targeting the Banking and financial sector.
• Relationships into banks, operators, VAS space and the retail channel will be an appreciable asset.
• Proven track record in achieving aggressive growth targets and building strong relationships with clients in the banking and financial sectors.
• Preferably engaged or willing / capable to be engaged in the sales technical role to provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting proposal activities and solutioning scope if required.
• Experience working and excelling in a highly regulated industry environment
• Advanced negotiation skills from deal initiation to contract signing.
• Regional experience and exposure in Banking Sector/Payment Industry is a plus.
• English Language Fluency is a must.
• French Language Fluency is a must
• African markets expulse is a plus
