Description de l'offre

About IDinsight
We’re a global data and evidence advisory, working with governments, philanthropies, and non-profits to improve lives at scale, using technology and AI where they can deliver the most impact.
IDinsight is a mission-driven global advisory, data analytics, and research organisation that helps global development leaders maximise their social impact. We tailor a wide range of data and evidence tools, including randomised evaluations and machine learning, to help decision-makers design effective programs and rigorously test what works to support communities. We work with governments, multilateral agencies, foundations, and innovative non-profit organisations in Asia and Africa, across sectors such as agriculture, education, health, governance, sanitation, financial inclusion, and more.

We have expertise in a variety of rigorous approaches and methodologies, which we tailor to each client depending on their needs and constraints. To achieve a positive social impact, we:
• Support our partners with the full ‘data and evidence’ value chain – from primary data collection to data systems, monitoring, evaluation, and learning tools, and data science
• Inform funding decisions – toward high-impact initiatives and away from less effective programs or approaches
• Create cutting-edge AI-for-good products that make the delivery of social interventions and learning tools more cost-effective and scalable
Our diverse, growing team of roughly 250 outstanding colleagues operates in nearly two dozen countries around the world. Learn more about our mission and values at www.IDinsight.org.

Joining IDinsight at this moment
IDinsight is entering an exciting new phase of growth. As demand for rigorous evidence and AI-enabled solutions accelerates across the sectors and geographies we work in, we are actively investing in our teams, deepening our regional footprint, and expanding the frontier of what data and technology can do for social impact. This is a moment of real momentum for IDinsight. We’re looking for people who want to use data and evidence to improve lives at scale; who are energized by taking on problems without a playbook; and who want a hand in shaping what IDinsight becomes as we grow.

About the Operations Specialist, WNA role
The West and North Africa (WNA) team operates as a regional unit based primarily in Dakar and Rabat, bringing together around 30 teammates from diverse nationalities (+10) and professional backgrounds, reflecting a strong multicultural and interdisciplinary profile. WNA is one of IDInsight’s six global regions, alongside Global, US, East & Southern Africa (ESA), India, and Southeast Asia (SEA).
Operations in West and North Africa are the enabling engine behind a fast-moving portfolio across Senegal, Morocco, and regional engagements. WNA combines long-term government partnerships with a steady mix of NGO- and foundation-funded work, and an active pipeline that requires disciplined systems to convert opportunities into high-quality delivery.
The Operations Specialist, West and North Africa is a regional operator and people-centered leader who ensures that our Senegal and Morocco offices run smoothly, compliantly, and cost-effectively, while enabling teams to deliver high-quality work without preventable operational friction.
The WNA Ops Specialist will report directly to the Office Leads. They will partner closely with WNA project leaders, Finance, People Ops, Legal, Systems, and global Safety and Security leadership. The role manages local operations staff as applicable and leads multiple workstreams across both countries.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day operations for the WNA region across both offices, ensuring reliable systems for administration, travel support, office management, and vendor services.
• Coordinate key people operations processes across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, policies & benefits, engagement, administration, and office operations, and culture building.
• Support offboarding processes, including checklists and system updates, so departures are handled cleanly.
• Maintain accurate people-ops records and documentation for the WNA team.
• Lead procurement and contracting coordination in line with IDinsight policies and donor requirements, ensuring strong documentation and clear audit trails.
• Partner with Finance to support smooth monthly closes, payments, expense hygiene, and audit readiness.
• Ensure local compliance in Senegal and Morocco across employment administration, benefits, required registrations, and records retention, coordinating closely with Legal and Finance.
• Use tools and automation thoughtfully to reduce manual load and improve service quality across recruiting, office ops, and compliance.

Qualifications
Must have Qualifications
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in recruiting, people operations, HR, or administration, ideally in international organisations or multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong organisational skills and comfort managing multiple workstreams with minimal oversight.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in diverse, cross-cultural teams.
• Values alignment with IDinsight and a strong stewardship mindset.

Nice to have Qualifications
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System.
• Familiarity with tools such as BambooHR, Lattice, Unit4, Asana, or Slack.
• Working knowledge of operational compliance in Senegal and or Morocco, including vendor management, immigration support, and office administration.
• Passion for global development and social impact.
Language
• Professional fluency in French and English required.
• Arabic and/or Wolof strongly preferred.
