Job description
Key accountabilities
• Team management;
• Provide 24/7 system administration and resolution of distributed server issues;
• Analyze the root causes of system problems;
• Document problems and associated resolutions;
• Once made available, download patches from a trusted source; Microsoft and create a hotfix package to (SCCM)
• Test patches to identify side effects;
• Enter a change management request case;
• Communicate to stakeholders;
• Work with the members of the client team as part of the interventions to solve technical problems;
• Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale;
• Provide daily reports to the Network & System architect regarding work time activities, incidents and user requests;
• Control the Internet access and the VPN tunnel of the head office;
• Perform all other tasks as requested by the Network and Security Lead and / or the Management Team in the assigned work role;
• Report anormalities detected;
• Develop and monitor security incidents dashboards;
• Regularly test the proper functioning of the security measures put in place to detect weaknesses and deficiencies;
• Carry out the security reference system, update it regularly, ensure its dissemination and ensure its application;
• Produce training materials and disseminate them;
• Set up communication actions in case of major risk or damage to the IS caused by an attack;
• Responsible for managing and monitoring for three sections with their systems and technologies as following:
Networks and Information Security Section
• Vulnerability & Patch Management;
• Comply with Fatal Risk Standards, Health & Safety Policy and safe working practices, ensure responsibility for safety and discipline in work area and report accidents and ‘near misses’ in accordance with defined safety procedures;
• Develop and monitor security incidents dashboards.
• The above outlined responsibilities are not exhaustive, and you may be required to carry out other tasks that are appropriate to your role in addition to these.
Experience
Minimum of 5 year in the field of informations systems security
Qualification
Master in computer science
Useful degree subjects include:
• Cyber security
• Forensic computing
• Mathematics, physics and other SIEM subjects
• Network engineering
• Networks and security.
• Cisco CCNP
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• MCSA
• Security Certification
Job function technical knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards, including Active Directory, Group Policies, MSExchange, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery;
• Organizational capacity to carry out actions to be done on time;
• Proven verbal and written communication skills;
• Safety standards and procedures;
• Control of security tools and technologies: firewall, antivirus, cryptography, authentication servers, intrusion test, PKI, URL filtering …;
• Good legal knowledge in security and IT law;
• A keen interest in IT and developments in the sector;
• Attention to detail, analytical abilities and the ability to recognize trends in data;
• Creativity and patience;
• Logic and objectivity;
• An inquisitive nature;
• A proactive approach with the confidence to make decisions;
• A methodical and well-organized approach to work;
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
