Job description
key accountabilities
• Organize and file all documents and evidences related to the HSE and Safety Management Systems;
• Ensure that HSE and Safety systems are updated with accurate evidences from the yard;
• Coordinate the HSE & safety training sessions for the staff and contractors;
• Supervise the organization of HSE & safety training sessions for operators and contractors;
• Update and file the HSE documents and Safety Management Systems under the Head of the department’ supervision;
• Organize required trainings and insure the full documentation with attendance sheet and comments of the participants;
• Establish and maintain the daily KPIs for HSSE Department;
• Supervise the preparation of HSE and safety performances report;
• Bring the expertise and insure the management of the whole HSE incidents and supervise the investigations and reports to be done;
• Follow up all correctives actions regarding incidents after investigations;
• Supervise the preparation of inspections planning’s, audits, simulations exercises;
• Coordinate and follow all requests needed for the investigations in the yard;
• Organize training sessions and insure the right documentation is available, list of attendees and their feedbacks;
• Daily coordinate questions in related to safety with the chief of safety guards (representing the safety company contractor);
• Assist the HSSE Manager in the choice of the equipment’s for work (EPI and others);
• Assist the head of the department in his job;
• Replace the HSSE Manager in case of unavailability.

Qualifications, experiences and skills
• Master’s Degree in HSE and Safety or Engineer in technical fields or equivalents.
• Experience in security mainly in industrial companies or field
• Mandatory: 03 years
• Preferable : 03 to 05 years Five years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
• Good knowledge in security mainly in industrial companies or field,
• Fluent in English,
• Good knowledge of computers (word, excel, PowerPoint, access),
• Good communication,

Being able to:
• Mapping the technical and functional risks and estimating their criticality,
• Conduct a risk and impact analysis,
• Conduct a risk analysis using standards and standard methods
• Respect and enforce the instructions (wearing of PPE, follow-up of QHSE procedures …)
• Master the fire detection system and means of first intervention for extinguishing,
• Know QHSE standards, standards and procedures (ISO, OHSAS,…),
• Assist to define and set up a QHSE management system (quality, hygiene, safety, environment),
• To be able to set up and control the system of control of the respect of the procedures and the methods of quality assurance (plan of audit, training and evaluation of the auditors,
• Synthesize a methodology or knowledge to capitalize and transmit
• Train employees or customers,
• Know the regulations in force on your sector.
