Missions and main objectives of the position:
Under the supervision of Project Manager, the HR & Admin Officer is a professional who assist the Project manager in HR policies, He is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources Executives related to personnel records, data management, policy creation and recruitment assistance in accordance with Project Procedures.
He can also gather payroll datas, publish job, schedule interviews, and prepare HR-related reports.
Key responsabilities and duties related to the position :
- Ensure the compliance of staff contracts with the labor regulation and Social statements ;
-Maintaining physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts and PTO requests
-Update internal regularly databases with new hire information
-Distribute documents as contracts, payslips and all documents needed by staff
-Gather payroll data like bank accounts and working days
-Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
-Publish and remove job announcement when needed
-Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed
-Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
-Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
-Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
-Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like total number of hires by department
-Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
-Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
-Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
-Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
-Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
-Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc) Communicate with public services when necessary
-Perform all other HR tasks related to his function needed by the Project Manager
-1 Profil/exigences du poste :
- At least BAC+3 with High Degree in Human Resouces Management or related field 2 to 5 years proven experience in a similar position, Basic knowledge of local labor laws and regulations Advanced PC skills and computer literacy Intermediate level in Sage HR software Experience on mine will be an asset Fluent in French and English

- The position is based on site in Gamba Gamba, Kedougou Senegal (to be confirmed)
- Possible travel to Dakar office
- An hourly volume of 8 hours per day or as required.
- Roster of 5 weeks – 2 weeks rest and recreation or as required.
