Job Title: Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives and increase revenue.
• Analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities and threats.
• Set clear sales targets and ensure the team is focused on meeting them.
Team Management & Development:
• Train new sales team members.
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to the sales team.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales environment.
• Set individual and team sales goals, and track progress to ensure targets are met.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
• Identify client needs and ensure the sales team delivers tailored solutions.
• Address customer complaints or issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Sales Performance & Reporting:
• Monitor and analyze the performance of the sales team.
• Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.
• Use sales metrics to assess team performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
• Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align strategies and optimize sales efforts.
• Coordinate with the finance team on pricing strategies and discount approvals.
Budget & Resource Management:
• Develop and manage sales budgets and ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
• Evaluate and oversee the allocation of resources, including tools, training, and support.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
• Continuously research and monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
• Adapt the sales approach based on market conditions and competitor offerings.
Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or relevant role in sales leadership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and CRM software.
• Ability to analyze sales performance data and derive actionable insights.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
