Finance Manager

As part of strengthening its finance department, a company operating in the trade and/or manufacturing sector is looking for a highly qualified Bilingual Finance Manager, with strong experience in taxation, auditing, and financial compliance, to lead the financial and tax functions of its subsidiary based in Dakar.

Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of General Management, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Supervising and overseeing all daily accounting operations.
• Ensuring monthly closing and preparing financial statements and management reports in compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participating in the development of tax planning strategies to minimize tax risks.
• Ensuring the company’s tax compliance, particularly regarding VAT, export VAT refunds, and other local tax obligations.
• Preparing documentation for tax audits and inspections, responding to requests from tax authorities, and participating in negotiations when necessary.
• Collaborating with external audit firms to ensure audits run smoothly and are completed within deadlines.
• Contributing to the implementation and monitoring of financial projects related to OHADA and IFRS standards.
• Performing any other related duties as assigned by management.


Required Profile
Mandatory Requirements
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Taxation
Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and taxation, including 3 years in a managerial or team leader position

• Standards: Knowledge of OHADA and IFRS accounting standards
• Nationality: Senegalese
• Age: Under 42 years old
• Languages: Fluent in French and English
• Location: Dakar

Skills
• Team management and/or supervisory experience
• Proficiency in ERP or financial management software (SAP knowledge is an asset)
• Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure, and multicultural environment

Remuneration & Conditions
• Gross monthly salary: Between 2,000 USD and 3,000 USD
