Eramet Grande Côte, a subsidiary of the Eramet Group in Senegal, is dedicated to the sustainable development, production, and shipping of mineral sands, including Ilmenite, Zircon, Rutile, and Leucoxene. We aim to ensure the long-term sustainability of mineral sands mining in Senegal through our team of committed, competent, and motivated professionals.

Job description
As Director of Communications, you will define and lead the internal and external communications strategy for the subsidiary, aligned with the Group’s priorities. You will play a key role in supporting the company’s transformation, enhancing institutional visibility, and reinforcing territorial integration.
A member of the Executive Committee, you will report directly to the CEO of the subsidiary and functionally to the Group Communications Director. You will lead a team of 5 and work closely with Public Affairs, Sustainability, HR, and Operations teams.

Responsibilities
• Define a mid-term communication strategy in line with ESG, business, and reputation goals of the subsidiary and the Group.
• Increase the visibility of Eramet Grande Côte and structure a proactive institutional communication strategy.
• Develop multichannel content and campaigns (print, digital, social media, events, press) with coherence and impact.
• Build strong media relations in Senegal and internationally, with anticipation of reputational risks.
• Lead crisis communications: issue anticipation, key messaging, and public positioning.
• Support internal teams with clear, engaging, and structured communications.
• Manage and develop a technically oriented communications team.
• Oversee budgets, KPIs, and performance reporting to the local and Group-level stakeholders.

Your profile
Education: Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Business, CELSA, IEP, or equivalent.


Experience
• Minimum 10 years in 360° communications roles, with strong experience in media relations and digital communications.
• Experience in industrial environments or agencies preferred.
• A strong understanding of both corporate and local subsidiary cultures is key.
