About the Role
Eclipse Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Blockchain Node Operator and
Mining Pool Architect with deep knowledge of Bitcoin’s core protocols and hands-on experience in running full nodes and building or managing mining pool infrastructure. As we scale our presence in the decentralized ecosystem, this role is critical in supporting Bitcoin’s resilience and improving mining decentralization.
Yoonu Leer aims to revolutionize rural electrification by combining solar power, battery storage, and Bitcoin mining to unlock energy access in underserved communities. You will play a critical role in designing the modular, field-deployable infrastructure that enables this innovation to scale.


Key Responsibilities
• Deploy and Maintain Full Bitcoin Nodes: Ensure consistent uptime, sync health, and relay efficiency. You’ll be responsible for operating secure, high-performance nodes that contribute to the strength of the Bitcoin network.
• Design and Launch a Mining Pool: Architect, build, and maintain a transparent and reliable mining pool infrastructure from the ground up or through modification of open-source software (e.g., Stratum V2).
• Implement Monitoring & Security: Establish automated monitoring systems, DDoS protection, firewall configurations, and redundant failover mechanisms to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Integrate Reward Distribution Systems: Create fair and accurate payout mechanisms such as PPLNS or FPPS, tailored to miner needs and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with Engineers & Miners: Work closely with developers, infrastructure specialists, and miners to integrate features, ensure compatibility, and support adoption.


Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT (Master’s preferred)
• Experience or coursework related to energy infrastructure, modular design, or rural construction is a plus
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills in English and French
• Familiarity with international design standards; knowledge of
• African codes is a plus
• Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teams, with flexibility for evolving project needs
• Strong experience with Bitcoin Core, Linux or Window environments, and network protocols.
• Deep understanding of Stratum (V1 and V2), pool software (e.g., ckpool, NOMP, BTCPayServer, or custom stacks).
• Experience with server architecture, load balancing, and secure infrastructure.
• Familiarity with mining economics, block propagation, and mempool dynamics.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language: Bitcoin Script, Python, Go, C++, or Rust.


Preferred Qualifications
• Enthusiasm for sustainable infrastructure, rural development, and digital innovation
• Prior experience launching or contributing to a mining pool is a strong advantage.
• Ability to deploy and manage DApps is a plus.
