Tasks :
• Demonstrate and instil an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development
• Demonstrate commitment to the Woodside Energy Charter and Code of Business Conduct
• Develop a deep understanding of the business and operations processes for the asset and associated projects
• Own and manage joint venture partner relationships and understands JOA and PSC with focus on maximizing cost recovery
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relations with management and teams across the Production Unit, Development, Petroleum Functions, Global Functions, and Joint Ventures
• With an owner’s mindset, offer commercial insight, analytical expertise and critical thinking and have strong communication and leadership skills
• Work with commercial teams and business to support valuable commercial outcomes (value enhancement, cost recovery, alignment on planned activities, delivery of annual operating plan)
• Provide support for Joint Interest Billing statements and associated Cash Calls
• Prepare and manage asset master data and authority for expenditure
• Manage month-end processes such as journal entry preparation and posting, reporting on financial and production outcomes, and providing variance analysis and commentary
• Support and challenge throughout the preparation of budgets and forecasts to ensure the plan outcomes will meet senior leadership and JV expectations
• Management of budget and forecast ensuring capital discipline and alignment with Global Investment Process (GIP)
• Support Sangomar Operations with MODEC contract and reporting of Opex spend
• Have meaningful conversations with Operational leadership, focusing on quality target setting, planning accuracy, and analysis of improvement and value opportunities
• Own PSC compliance (protecting license to operate, and JV & PSC cost recovery)
• Own PSC entitlement model and calculations and be an SME to the organisation on the financial, commercial, and fiscal impact of the PSC.
• Support to Senegal Country Finance Manager and Country Manager as required
• Liaison with Tax Function to ensure compliance with regulations and limit exposure
• Liaison with SOX team to ensure compliance and minimise exposure


Skills required :
• Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement and ability to work autonomously and deliver as needed
• Commercial mindset including understanding of license agreements, Joint Venture agreements, investment analysis, financing options, Key Value drivers, capital allocation, and business planning process.
• Ability to influence, collaborate, persuade and negotiate internally and externally § Strong analytical skill


Experiences :
• 7+ years Finance experience, preferably within the upstream oil & gas sector
• SOX experience
• Experience with SAP preferred
