Lead L&H Trainer Assessor – National
African Mining Services (AMS) is one of the largest Contract Mining Companies in Africa with established support networks in Africa, Australia and Europe. AMS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Perenti. African Mining Services is currently seeking an experienced Lead Load and Haul Trainer Assessor to become a part of our Senegal operations. Reporting to the Project manager, this position will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership to the Training team and to give support and advice to Management on training and safety related issues on site.

Key Responsibilities:
• Follow the AMS Training Management System and develop employee’s skill levels to meet site competency and Regulatory Standards.
• Develop and mentor a Workplace Trainers and Administration team within the L&H Dept.
• Oversee and coordinate daily training activities and administration
• Work closely with Safety Department to continuously improve safety and environmental standards.

About You:
• O-Level Certificate
• Heavy equipment training certificate from a recognised institution
• 3 years experience in the mining industry
• 3 years experience on various Load and Haul machinery and support plant
• Able to operate a variety of Heavy Mining Machines
• Fluent in both French and English, both written and oral
