Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is looking for a Seller responsible for selling of IBM Cloud Integration in our Cloud & Cognitive market. The role of the Seller will be to:
Provide overall IBM Software account sales leadership with respect to IBM Cloud Integration Offerings and IBM Cloud.
Develop and maintain relationships with the highest levels of customer management across executive, line of business, IT, and procurement
Articulate IBM Cloud Integration strategy and solutions as a means to deliver business value in support of the clients strategy and direction
Develop and close the complex opportunities including planning and leading negotiations with customer management and procurement
Maintain and orchestrate detailed account-specific plans and strategies, and ensure accuracy in forecasting and opportunity management
In addition, to fully harness the power of team IBM, the Seller will engage and co-ordinate closely with IBM Software Client Leader, Client Account team and the extended ONE IBM team.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Knowledge of the public and banking industry, and a proven track record of successful software sales experience with major clients
Credible presence in front of senior executives, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of IBM industry and software solution offerings, and the ability to position these with executives and key partners
Commercially minded and capable of supporting end-to-end sales engagements including contract negotiation with the ability to think, plan and act strategically
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum of 5-8 years of IBM software sales experience with proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Preference of Technical knowledge
Knowledge of the Public and/or Banking Industry, and a proven track record of successful software sales experience with major Enterprise clients
Credible presence in front of senior executives, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of IBM industry and software solution offerings, and the ability to position these with executives and key partners
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Excellent sales and technical acumen
