Oolu Solar hiring People Operations Manager (West and Central Africa).
Oolu Solar is a growing solar energy provider in West Africa with presence in Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso , Cameroon and Nigeria and plans to expand within the region.

We are actively looking for a regional People Operations Manager that can ensure the professional running of tasks related to human resources, administrative management and employee monitoring.
The People Operations Manager coordinates and manages the HR services of Oolu Solar in our West and Central African countries (French-speaking countries) by supervising the implementation of the HR strategy and the administrative management of the staff.
Core responsibilities :
People Management
• Coordinate the administrative management of staff
• Review and monitor the application of internal policies and procedures
• Advise managers on HR issues and labor law
• Guarantee compliance with social and legal regulations related to HR fields.
• Ensure and coordinate relations with employee representative
• Implement KPIs to improve the performance of the department
Payroll
• Coordinate the organization of payroll: collection and control of payroll elements
• Preparation and monitoring of the payroll budget
• Management and monitoring of monthly, quarterly, annual social declarations and their follow-up with the competent institutions (social charges, TAXES)
• Ensure compliance with validated compensation structure
Recruitments
• Pilot recruitment processes
• Supervise and / or publish job offers
• Analyze candidates’ CVs
• Contribute to staff onboarding and offboarding
• Support Managers in identifying profiles to be recruited
Performance management
• Contribute to the implementation of the appraisal system
• Coordinate training and development plans
• Support managers and staff in career management
Profile:
• Experience: More than 4 years of relevant work experience, in challenging environments.
• Team management: more than 2 years of coordinating a team, preferably in a sub-regional context
• HR management: demonstrated ability to implement a global HR strategy (administration, payroll, recruitment, career development)
• Legal knowledge: perfect knowledge of the labor code and taxation in the countries of activity
• Results-oriented mindset: enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement of existing systems
• Intercultural skills: good collaboration with colleagues from various backgrounds
• Solid training: at least bachelor’s level in the field concerned (Bac + 3)
• Languages: French (English would be a plus)
