About the role:
The Poultry program Associate – Recruitment & Setting-Up will support the scale-up of myAgro’s poultry program by leading the recruitment and setup of new poultry Mother Units (MUs), and coordinating training activities with internal teams. This role ensures that all new poultry MUs are selected, contracted, constructed, and operational on time, and that staff and benefi ciaries (supervisors, poultry agents, producers, and MUs) receive consistent, quality training. You will report to the Poultry Production Associate and work closely with the Production Associate and Training Team. You will champion myAgro's values while promoting excellence, structure, and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Setup of New MUs
- Lead recruitment campaigns in new zones in collaboration with Field Coordinators and Supervisors.
- Validate eligibility criteria, site feasibility, and construction readiness.
- Coordinate signing of MU contracts and onboarding documentation.
- Track MU setup progress and report regularly to the Poultry Program Manager.
2. Coordination of Trainings
- Collaborate with the Training team to develop and update training modules for MU Supervisors, Poultry Agents, Producers, and VEs.
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions across different zones.
- Support Training of Trainers (ToTs) for fi eld staff involved in poultry delivery.
- Ensure feedback from training sessions is collected and analyzed to improve content and delivery.
3. Monitoring & Process Documentation
- Ensure all recruitment, setup, and training data is accurately captured in tracking tools (Excel, CommCare, or dashboards).
- Flag issues and delays early and contribute to problem-solving in the fi eld.
- Support the development of SOPs and standard onboarding procedures for new poultry MUs.
- Conduct quality control checks on setup and training effectiveness.

- Organizational Skills & Attention to Detail: You’re able to keep fi eld progress organized and clearly documented, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks — especially during scale-up phases.
- Technical Profi ciency: You are confi dent using Excel, Google Sheets, and digital tools like CommCare for program monitoring. You are comfortable creating and maintaining tracking tools.
