Human Resources Supervisor
The Human Resources (HR) Supervisor oversees daily HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and training. This role ensures company policies align with legal standards and organizational goals while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Supervise the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring decisions.
• Oversee onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration for new employees.
• Collaborate with department managers to determine staffing needs.
Employee Relations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, addressing grievances and conflicts professionally.
• Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
• Conduct investigations into workplace issues and recommend resolutions.
Performance Management
• Oversee performance review processes, ensuring evaluations are fair, timely, and constructive.
• Support managers in addressing underperformance and developing performance improvement plans.
• Promote employee recognition programs to encourage motivation and productivity.
Training & Development
• Identify training needs and coordinate programs to develop employee skills.
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Assist in career development initiatives for employees.
Compliance & Policy Implementation
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Update HR policies and procedures as needed and communicate changes to staff.
• Oversee proper record-keeping of HR files, employee data, and confidentiality.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and leave management processes.
• Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and compensation.
• Ensure compensation practices are competitive and equitable.
Reporting & HR Metrics
• Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as turnover, absenteeism, and recruitment statistics.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in an HR role, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws(Senegalese Law), HR practices, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
