We are looking for the/a Shift Operator Rufisque, Cap des Biches.

Job Summary
As Shift Operator, you will join our Operations. team! In this role, you will report to Operation manager . Join us to drive the right power forward and make clean energy the natural choice for all!

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
• Strictly control all operating parameters (alarm threshold; trigger threshold, visualization of curves);
• Act promptly by taking the appropriate measures established in case of fire or alarm caused by a gas leak, as well as any other accidents that may occur on the site;
• Ensure that all instructions given by the watch leader are correctly followed and implemented;
• Ensure that the « work authorization process » is strictly followed for all equipment under its responsibility.
• Assist the watch chief by ensuring that all operational procedures in place are strictly followed.
• Respect the health, safety, and environmental policy of ContourGlobal and ensure its proper implementation;
• Keep the shift report log up to date;
• Submit the daily operating report on time and ensure the accuracy of all previously analyzed data.
• Ensure the proper start-up and shutdown of the engines and other auxiliary equipment.
• Manage and supervise the activities of the shift technicians (data collection from meters, valve manipulation, etc.);
• Respect the team’s rotation system of the operation;
• Be able to identify anomalies and take corrective measures in a timely manner.
• Be available for professional mobility.
• Be responsible for housekeeping

Qualifications and Skills
Your profile is a natural match if you have:
• The Candidate must hold a BT or DUT in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Have more than 5 years of professional experience in the field of electric power production from thermal power plants (operation or maintenance) or in an industry.
• To have mastery of the French language
• Knowledge of English would be an asset.
• Be able to work in a team
• To have the ability to manage stress.
• Having the ability to anticipate in solving the various problems that may arise.
• Being able to follow and respect the guidelines
• Being responsible, taking responsibility for one’s mistakes and having good morals

Travel requirements: This role requires frequent travels.
