IT Application Analyst (Only For Locals).
Overall Job Purpose
Provide IT Support within MOSEN’s IT Department, with a focus on ServiceNow-driven ITSM, SAP L1 support, Kissflow workflow alignment, software asset management (SAM), and Office 365 analytics (Excel/Power BI). The role ensures operational continuity, software compliance, and process excellence across all departments by documenting procedures, optimizing workflows, and maintaining audit-ready records.

Core Responsibilities
IT Application Support
• Deliver L1 application support for SAP and MOSEN business applications; triage and escalate per SLA.
• Manage incidents, requests, problems, and changes via ServiceNow; ensure accurate categorization, prioritization, and knowledge base updates.
• Support Kissflow workflows and align them with departmental processes.
Process & Documentation
• Analyze and map end-to-end processes using UML (e.g., use case, activity, sequence diagrams).
• Write clear procedures, and user guides for application usage and software management.
• Contribute to the IT knowledge base and configuration documentation.
• Software Asset Management (SAM) & Compliance
• Administer the ServiceNow Software Asset Management module (or equivalent): discovery, normalization, entitlement, reconciliation.
• Oversee software license procurement, renewal, allocation, reclamation, and compliance.
• Maintain audit-ready evidence, monitor usage, and coordinate internal/external license audits.
• Ensure adherence to security, access control, and compliance standards.
• Business Alignment & Stakeholder Engagement
• Understand functions and workflows across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and HSE to align application support (Kissflow/SAP) to operational needs.
• Capture business requirements and translate them into technical tasks or change requests.
• Coordinate with vendors for incident escalation, service restoration, and service improvement.
Procurement & Administration
• Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for IT software and services.
• Support asset lifecycle activities (request, approval, allocation, recovery, disposal) in ServiceNow.

• Ensure that Emergency Response capabilities are constantly maintained. Member of the Emergency Response Group.
• Encourage employee participation in areas of safety, environmental protection and technical integrity as per requirements of the Safety Case.
• 3.6 Ensure all resources are available where required to efficiently ensure continued technical integrity of the MODEC FPSO/FSO.
• Ensure that a communication forum for HSSEQ exists.
• Ensure that training resources for HSSEQ are available.
• Encourage behaviour observation systems.
Financial and Operational Dimensions/Impact and Decision-making Authority (if applicable)
• Operates within defined policies to allocate/reclaim licenses, prioritize tickets per SLA matrix, and initiate standard changes.
Recommends renewals, true-ups, and optimization actions; final approval rests with IT Management/Procurement.

Work Relationships
Internal
• Collaboration with all the departments to understand workflows and support needs.
• Close coordination with IT Infrastructure, Security, and Business Applications teams.
• Partnership with Procurement and Finance for PRs, renewals, and cost tracking.
External
• Vendors and service providers (e.g., SAP support, ServiceNow partners, software publishers) for escalations, licenses, and audits.
• External auditors during software compliance assessments.

Job Challenges and Problem Solving
Balancing multi-department priorities while meeting SLA commitments.
• Normalizing and reconciling entitlement vs. discovery data to maintain compliance.
• Translating complex business processes into maintainable Kissflow/SAP configurations and clear documentation.
• Managing frequent changes in licensing metrics and vendor terms; minimizing audit exposure.


Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification
Minimum Bac 3 in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.


Certification(s)
• ITIL Foundation.
• ServiceNow Fundamentals/ITSM or SAM certification.
• SAP certification (End-User or Associate) is a plus.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals) are a plus.


Relevant Experience
• 1–3 years in IT application support or ITSM environment.
• Hands-on with ServiceNow (incidents/requests; SAM experience is a strong plus).
• Exposure to SAP (L1 support) and understanding of core modules relevant to MOSEN business.
• Knowledge of UML for process and requirements modeling.
• Programming/software engineering exposure is welcome.
• Strong proficiency with Office 365, especially Excel and Power BI.

Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
