We are hiring a Rigger Foreman for our client in the mining sector.

Missions
• The person in this role will be responsible for providing rigging advice and expertise to assist a team of national counterparts in executing and managing the rigging requirements of the gold processing plant.
• The role will ensure that the right work is completed on time, that inspection plans are developed and implemented and that a culture of continuous learning and improvement is cultivated.
• The role involves carrying out assembly activities safely and efficiently and complying with all safety and environmental requirements.
• The incumbent is responsible for carrying out erection activities in a safe and efficient manner and complying with all applicable site procedures and regulations, as well as Senegalese legislation.
• The Rigger is responsible for moving extra-heavy equipment, machinery and materials that cannot be moved by conventional methods, using cranes and lifting equipment.


Job requirements
• Trade Qualification in rigging/Ropesman, with at least three (3) years of experience in diverse Industrial/Mining environments, of which at least five (5) years are in a supervisory role and the management of: Mobile cranes (up to 80 ton), Telescopic handlers, Forklifts, Electric hoists and Overhead cranes.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
