A great opportunity as a Project Consultant has just opened up for a short term consulting assignment in Senegal.
About the role:
The purpose of this role is to analyse and advice management on a greenfield mining project.
The assignment will last for 2 months, with the possibility of a contract extension.
Responsibilities:
· Liaise with regulatory authorities
· Advise on project scope, concessions possible, tax rebates, and government support.
· Evaluating the project plans, OPEX and CAPEX, as well as viability and feasibility of the project
· Must be hands on
Candidate Requirements:
· Fluent in French and English
· Prior experience of working in Senegal / Francophone countries
· Must understand tax and other government regulations in Senegal
· Must have been exposed to project based, greenfield projects
· Understand project scope and tender processes
