Position Summary
The Future Pro – PR and Communications role provides essential support in delivering public relations and brand communication activities. This position focuses on assisting with content development, media coordination, and campaign execution to ensure consistent messaging across channels. Responsibilities include helping draft press materials, maintaining media lists, monitoring coverage, and preparing communication assets. The role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, with opportunities to learn from senior professionals and contribute meaningfully to brand-building efforts.

Major Responsibilities
• Assist with PR Content Creation: Support drafting press releases, media statements, and other communication materials under guidance.
• Coordinate Media Lists and Outreach: Help maintain media databases and assist with outreach activities to strengthen media relationships.
• Monitor Press Coverage: Track media mentions, and compile coverage reports to support campaign evaluation.
• Support Campaign Execution: Contribute to the implementation of PR and brand communication activities across channels.
• Manage Scheduling and Logistics: Assist with coordinating calendars for media engagements, interviews, and team activities.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with senior colleagues to ensure timely delivery of communication tasks and learn best practices.

Required Skills/Knowledge
• Proven experience in PR, communications, or a related field, with a solid understanding of media relations and brand communication strategies.
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication abilities for drafting press releases, preparing media materials, and engaging stakeholders.
• Familiarity with local and international media outlets, including digital platforms and emerging channels.
• Comfortable PR tools, media monitoring software, and standard office applications; strong digital literacy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate calendars, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in monitoring press coverage, interpreting campaign performance, and applying insights to improve communication strategies.
• Commitment to staying informed on PR trends, best practices, and innovative communication methods.
• Confident, collaborative, and able to build relationships with internal teams and external media contacts.

Experience Needed
• 3–5 years of professional experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience drafting press releases, managing media lists, and coordinating media relations.
• Proven ability to monitor press coverage and support integrated communication campaigns.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Educational Background Required
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
