Technical Sales Representative.
Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Dakar, Senegal. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by leveraging your technical expertise to provide innovative solutions to our clients in the Senegalese market.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in Senegal
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our solutions
• Analyze client needs and propose tailored technical solutions to meet their requirements
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure successful implementation of sold solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities in the West African market
• Prepare and submit detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote our products and services
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns for the Senegalese market
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the sales cycle
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales or a related field
• Strong technical knowledge of relevant products or services
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Willingness to travel within Senegal and occasionally to neighboring countries
• Knowledge of the Senegalese market and business culture is highly desirable
• Experience in the telecommunications or IT industry is a plus
• Familiarity with project management methodologies is advantageous
• Understanding of technology trends and market dynamics in West Africa
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA) are a plus
