SensFlo is a global Industrial AI and IIoT platform that transforms manufacturing through real-time machine monitoring and advanced analytics.
We are looking for a Field Installation Technician or Engineerfor an initial 2-week project (Phase 1).
In this stage, you will lead the physical implementation of our infrastructure in a manufacturing plant, demonstrating your technical and problem-solving skills.
You must have the autonomy to install cabinets, run network cabling, interact with industrial panels, and troubleshoot basic IT issues, relying on our remote engineering team for advanced configurations.

Key Responsibilities
Physical Installation and Rack & Stack: Unbox, mount, and power up servers, UPS units, PoE switches, and network cabinets (Server Racks). Ensure clean cable management and proper power distribution.

• Cabling and Connectivity (Networking): Run CAT6 cables using basic trays or conduits. Punch down cables, install RJ45 connectors, patch into switches, and verify link status and PoE power.
• Basic Industrial Integration: Install SensFlo enclosures near machinery. Make secure physical connections for basic sensors (guided by the remote team) without needing to reprogram PLCs, but without hesitation to interact with electrical cabinets and industrial hardware.

IT Diagnostics and Configuration:
• Navigate machine touchscreens (HMIs) to identify and record IP addresses and subnet masks.
• Assign static IP addresses in a Windows environment and run basic network diagnostic commands (ping, ipconfig, arp) to validate local connectivity.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Work semi-independently while maintaining active communication (via Google meet/WhatsApp) with the SensFlo remote team. Document the process using clear photographs of screens, cabling, and installed hardware.

Requirements and Experience (Mid-Level)
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience working in on-site IT support, network installation, telecommunications, or basic industrial automation maintenance.

Technical Skills
• Proficient use of the Windows operating system and console commands (Command Prompt).
• Proven experience in structured cabling (CAT6) and rack equipment installation.
• Ability to use testing tools (multimeters, continuity testers, punch-down tools).
• Industrial Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing environments (heavy machinery, production lines). PLC programming is not required, but prior experience reading electrical diagrams or interacting with control panels is a major plus.
• Languages: Fluency in the local language (Spanish/French depending on location) and an intermediate level of English (able to read manuals and communicate technically with the remote support team).
