Summary
Reporting to the Country Manager, the role of the function is to ensure the management of the activities and the team of the Supply Chain department.
What will be your responsibilities?
Contribute to the implementation of the group Supply Chain strategy
Supervise all of the entity’s supplies in compliance with the group’s operational procedures and guidelines
Ensure the coordination of all the services necessary to optimize supply times and costs (Management of the main stock including tax and bonded, Logistics/Transit-Customs monitoring, Organization of deliveries)
Supervise import/export operations
Set up and efficiently manage its budget (general purchases, spare parts, etc.)
Ensure the supervision and development of the Supply Chain team placed under its umbrella
Ensure optimal monitoring of stock movements
Ensure compliance with the DOS by his team
Supervise the various purchase order processing activities (ESB and premises) according to pre-established conditions
Supervise the shipper’s activities in order to optimize the various delivery times in place
Supervise the activities of the Store in order to ensure effective deliveries to external and internal customers and rigorous management of the various stocks in place
Consolidate and transmit the various reports of the department to the General Management and other stakeholders
Analyze and process the various complaints addressed to the Department
Manage the various contracts and/or approvals of the department including those binding us to freight forwarders, carriers and other distributors of goods and services
Who are we looking for?
BAC+5 in transport logistics/purchasing management or equivalent;
Languages: French and English (any other language is a plus);
IT: ERP + MS Office. Knowledge of SAP software is a plus;
Technical knowledge and experience of public works and mining machinery is a plus.
Experience in a supply chain function, ideally in export-import;
Minimum 8 years relevant working experience;
