Responsibilities:
• Participate in the development and implementation of the overall strategy of the institution.
• Contribute to the development of new proximity financial products and services.
• Identify and assess market opportunities and potential risks.
• Supervise the daily operations of the institution.
• Ensure compliance of operations with applicable regulations.
• Ensure constant adherence to internal policies as well as legal and regulatory requirements governing the institution’s activities.
• Optimize internal processes to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Coach and motivate teams.
• Participate in the recruitment and development of talent.
• Foster a corporate culture focused on performance and innovation.
• Represent the institution before regulatory authorities (in the absence of the General Director), partners, and sub-agents.
• Negotiate strategic partnerships and key contracts for business development.
• Prepare periodic reports (brief overview, etc.) and operational reports, as well as presentation materials for board meetings.
• Analyze the institution’s performance and propose action plans for improvement.
Required Skills:
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Good knowledge of the financial operators in the Senegalese market.
• Knowledge of the institution’s activities and business areas.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment.
• Analytical and synthesizing abilities.
• Rigor, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Education :
• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Banking, Finance, or equivalent.
Professional Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial sector.
• At least 5 years in a managerial position.
