We are hiring: Development Programme Manager.
The Embassy of Ireland to Senegal is seeking a suitably qualified professional to fill a full-time Development Programme Manager position on an initial two-year contract.

The Development Programme Manager will support the management, oversight and implementation of the Embassy’s development cooperation portfolio. This is a senior position based at Embassy Dakar and covering development cooperation programmes in Senegal. The Development Programme Manager will also provide technical support with respect to Ireland’s development and humanitarian partnerships in the region, including in the Central Sahel.

The Development Programme Manager will report to the Deputy Head of Mission/Head of Cooperation and will have particular responsibility for managing the effective implementation of the Embassy’s development cooperation portfolio including work with a focus on climate, food systems and agriculture, gender, youth and governance. The position may also involve providing technical support with respect to Ireland’s development and humanitarian partnerships in the region, including in the Central Sahel. The successful candidate will also support the development and implementation a new mission strategy.
