Since adopting our global strategy, 100 Million Reasons, our global work to advance children’s rights and equality for girls has had unprecedented impact.
We have been transforming our operations at the Global Hub to be the best possible partner for the 8,000+ staff who work in our country offices, and working to become a more agile, efficient and accountable organization.

We have improved our mechanisms for collaboration, transparency and data-gathering and disaggregation.
The transformation has increased the number of decisions to be taken close to the point of impact and distributed power more widely throughout the organisation.
We have made significant progress towards greater localisation and developing industry-leading equality, diversity and inclusion best practices.

To bring about lasting change, we have to live our values.
We are committed not simply to telling the world we are the go to organisation on girls’ rights, but to embedding justice and equality in all that we do.
Will you join us?

The Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child.
But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination.
And it’s girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity.
We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

The Opportunity

As the Delivery, Performance & Accountability Administrator you will coordinate and lead on the department’s administrative tasks, such as arranging travel requests, managing contracts with external suppliers/consultants and using the SAP software system to create purchase requisitions and orders to process invoices for payment.
You will need to organise both virtual and face-to-face workshops and meetings and you will also record and monitor team budget and expenditure for quarterly and annual reporting purposes.

In this role you will coordinate the establishment and implementation of an internal communication plan to engage staff across all offices with the team’s activities and achievements.
You will regularly update the team’s intranet pages, ensuring a consistency in look, feel and navigation.
You will also assist with any other day-to-day requests/problems to support the administrative requirements of the department.

The Individual

We are looking to recruit an organised and observant individual with excellent administration skills and Microsoft Office skills.
You will have knowledge of content management systems and Google Analytics and you will also have experience of budgeting, tracking and reporting.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about development issues, particularly those involving girls’ rights and gender equality.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the ability to deliver accurately to tight deadlines and be creative with a strong initiative and ability to identify gaps and solutions.
You will be adaptable and a team player who has strong team building and interpersonal skills.

Equality, diversity and inclusion is at the very heart of everything that Plan International stands for.

Plan International believes that in a world where children face so many threats of harm, it is our duty to ensure that we, as an organisation, do everything we can to keep children safe.
This means that we have particular responsibilities to children that we come into contact with and we must not contribute in any way to harming or placing children at risk.

A range of pre-employment checks will be undertaken in conformity with Plan International's Safeguarding Children and Young People policy. Plan International also participates in the Inter Agency Misconduct Disclosure Scheme.
