Linum Consult hiring Sales Engineer.
Responsibilities
• Carrying out customer research and canvassing
• Organising follow-up client visits
• Establishing relationships with the local government for current or future public works projects
• Updating and implementing the commercial mailing list for a portfolio of public works companies
• Responding to calls for tenders by participating in the development of bidding documents
• Monitoring the client portfolio
• Developing equipment sales
• Following up on orders and established quotes
• Ensuring compliance with contractual commitments
• Participating in the negotiation of sales or service contracts
• Participating in budget preparation and execution
Job requirements
• Master’s degree qualification in Commerce, Marketing, or Sales, or have a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 5-10 years’ experience in a similar B2B position within an industrial environment, ideally in a branded dealer network
• Preferably have good knowledge of sales activities for machines used in construction or mining
• Creative and innovative personality, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good knowledge of West Africa and its socio-economic background would be beneficial
• Fluent in French & English
