Nous recherchons un Project Health Coordinator pour un de nos clients évoluant dans le secteur du Gas and Oil.
Mission and Responsibilities :
- Assists the Project Management in defining the Health Management Strategies for the Project in all its activities aspects and coordinates the different Health related activities within Projects’ worksites
- Defines, implements, updates, and continuously improves Company Health Management System for the Project with the particular attention on illness prevention, health protection and promotions programs and activities.
- Develops/Reviews and implements procedures describing “Medical Emergencies Preparedness and Response management”, “Medevac” and “Medical Repatriation” covering Project work sites and personnel including the company and subcontractors under our direct responsibility.
- Reports to the Project HR Manager and directly to the company Health Manager and Offshore Division Health Manager in dealing with Health issues concerning the project particularly during medical emergencies, repatriations, and other health related activities.
- Ensures the optimization of overhead costs and achieve defined targets within the Project’s budget.
- The Project Health Coordinator will be assisted by the company Area Health Coordinators according to the Project’s worksites and by the company Health Manager and Offshore Division Health Manager, to adequately achieve his mission.
Project Health Coordinator tasks :
- Define the Project requirements, according to the company standards and Contractual requests, for a proper organizational and operative management of the health and medical services for the Project by defining qualifications, duties, and responsibilities of health professionals on different Project’s work sites, equipment and setting up of medical facilities, training programs and teaching materials, protocols for fitness medical examinations.
- Ensure that, upon site specific health survey, the Project work sites are provided with proper medical resources, facilities, equipment, and organization including MEDEVAC.
- Assure that Health Risk Assessment for the project has been done, approved by the Client, and kept updated and all the results of the assessment are implemented.
- Coordinate with Human Recourses department the identification and the building of retainer ship agreement with local third-party hospitals/clinics for referral during medical emergencies, for routine medical consultations and for pre-employment and periodical medical fitness examinations of company employees.
- Manage the Medical Emergencies for the Project and ensure the medical emergency chain with its 1ry, 2ry and 3ry Health Care Units is operational 24/7/365.
- Ensure that Project’s personnel can directly access to the company Medical Personnel for consultation 24/7/365, who could orient them to the adequate 3rd party Medical Structure in case of needs.
- Ensure all personnel on the project (Company and subcontractors under our direct responsibility) have valid medical fitness certificate and when needed to organize periodical medical fitness examinations on site according to the company standards in a company recognized medical structures.
- Carry out Health related inspections/audits to verify that what has been planned in all standards, procedures and work instructions are being properly implemented on all Project’s worksites, and to recommend actions that will assure continues improvement.
Ensure First Aid Training Program is implemented.
- Travelling counselling, for employees going on missions on different Project’s location is done.
- Develop health prevention and promotion programs, define the strategies and methods of their implementation across the different worksites of the Project including campaigns like Cardiovascular risk factors, Tele-cardiology, Obesity Control, Stop Smoking and other initiatives based on local health risk hazards like Malaria Control Program in Senegal and Mauritania.
- Organize, follow up and assure that health prevention activities, like vaccination programs, malaria prophylaxis, vector borne diseases prevention, training, and information courses compulsory by law and/or based on local peculiarities, are carried out.
- Define annual Health Performance Indicators for all Project’s worksites under his responsibility, coordinate their monitoring, assure their evaluation and analysis, and present the results to the Project Management.
- Ensure issuance, revision, and full implementation of Corporate Policies, Guidelines, Procedures, Standards and Work Instructions based on local peculiarities.
- Ensure that all Project’s worksites submit accurate and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reports according to Corporate standard on medical reporting, and that these reports are made available to Project Management.
Ensure that the GIPSI program is operational in all project’s worksites, by:
- Ensuring that all company group employees records are kept updated as well as medical fitness examinations are valid.
- Ensuring all health-related data are inserted properly in the program such as site hygiene, daily agenda, fitness examination, accident reports, PSS etc.
- Ensuring that export data and check reports of all Project’s worksites are submitted on monthly basis.
- Ensure issuance of Health reports and present periodically to Project management, the results, the highlights, and the recommendation on different health related initiatives thereby improving the quality of Health services provided to employees.
- Participate and develop health related sustainability programs together with Project management and HSE Manager.
- Assure that the costs and medical expenditures of all project sites are followed, optimized, and presented to the Project Management.
