Overview of position
Our client is currently recruiting a number of Team Leaders (specialised in UMOJA ERP system) for a Peacekeeping mission in Mali.
This project aims to achieve 100% accuracy of the Missions inventory database.
Our client uses Umoja (SAP) inventory Database System to manage its inventory, equipment and Assets.
The desired 100% accuracy implies that at the end of the project, the database will have the correct product description, Quantity, Value and location for all materials in the mission.
The 5 teams will be located in: (Bamako, Mopti, Timbuktu, Gao and Menaka, Kidal and Tessalit).
The assignment is expected to last for a period of 6 months with a possible extension of another 3 months.
The extension will be subject to the progress made by the project team.
Role objectives
The incumbent of this position will be entrusted with the following duties:
Responsible for managing a team System Specialists who are checking and verifying supply chain, inventory management transactions on UMOJA.
More duties will be shared soon.
Project reporting
The Team Leader will report directly to the Project Manager.
Key competencies
Education:
The candidate must have a minimum of bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience:
• At least 5 years of working experience in the fields of logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience on UMOJA or any other SAP system for inventory Management is desirable.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a team.
Team management
Responsbile for a team of System Specialists.
