The US Embassy Dakar hiring Supply Clerk.
Salary: 6,872,892 CFA per year

Job description
On behalf of the embassy, receives more than 3,000 purchases per year, including bulk fuel shipments.
Responsible for the verification and temporary storage of all material, supplies, and equipment received at either the embassy warehouse, embassy compound receiving point, or identified sub-receiving points. Inspects for completeness and damages before preparing Receiving and Inspection Report (DS-127), completing the procurement cycle.

Job requirements
• Experience: One year of related clerical experience required.
• Education Requirements: Completion of secondary school required.
• Language: Level III (Good Working Knowledge) speaking/reading/writing in English, French and Wolof is required. (This will be tested.)
• Skills and abilities: Level II typing ability required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Must have excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and the ability to respond customers with tact and diplomacy.
Must be computer proficient and able to learn new software.
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Must have a Driver’s license.
