About the Role:
Reports to: Deputy Country Director, Senegal, with a dotted line to our Director of Global People Operations
The Senegal Human Resources Manager role is a important part of the leadership team within myAgro Senegal. As myAgro Senegal increases the number of farmers we impact, you will support the entire employee lifecycle for the team creating this impact.
You will oversee communication and implementation of HR policies across all departments and regions of operation, and ensure there are understood avenues for feedback to and from our organization. You will do all of this by managing an incredible Human Resources Team and having a clear vision for excellence.
You Will:
• Manage all activities of the HR department in Senegal, including: Recruitment, Contracts, Onboarding, Payroll, Performance Management, Health & Wellbeing, Employee Exits
• Ensure there are understood avenues for communication and feedback for the Senegal team
• Ensure compliance with Senegal Labor Law
• Work with the Global People Operations team to improve the efficiency and accuracy of HR operations in Senegal by implementing policies and systems
• Manage a growing HR team into excellence
• Support and champion myAgro values through scale
• Champion diversity and inclusion with the country and global leadership
You Have:
• 4+ years experience in Human Resources, especially having seen a company through growth
• Required: English and French proficiency; Preferred: Wolof proficiency
• Experience managing teams
• Experience with Senegalese Labor Law and Employee Code
• Experience developing and rolling-out policies and systems
• Experience communicating with all levels of employees
