CONSULTANT - GENDER-RESPONSIVE EDUCATION PLANNER - “GENDER AT THE CENTER” INITIATIVE

The consultant, under the authority of the Head of the IIEP-UNESCO Dakar Office, and under the direct supervision of the Technical Manager of the Gender at the Center Initiative, will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with the GCI team and the IIEP-UNESCO Dakar teams in the provision of technical support to countries (support for the development of a gender-responsive sector analysis, sector plan or capacity development in other areas such as gender institutionalization)
• Supporting the GCI team in the design, coordination and delivery of trainings and workshops (University on gender- responsive educational planning, workshop on gender Institutionalization)
• Contributing to the implementation of research and development initiatives (coordinate the development of the structure of a guide on gender institutionalization; contribute to the development of a guide on gender mainstreaming in education sector analyses).

The consultancy is scheduled to start on April 15, 2021 and end on December 31, 2021.
