Sightsavers Senegal Country Office is excited to be recruitment for an Administrative Officer to provide administrative support and office services for the smooth running of the Country Office, and to develop and implement systems for efficient and timely delivery of assigned roles and responsibilities.
As the Administrative Officer you will be responsible for the day to day administration of the office and to oversee the office premises and the general maintenance of office equipment and that all equipment is in good working condition.
The Administrative Officer will also ensure smooth operation of the IT system - email, internet, security alarm system, maintain an efficient filing system to ensure easy retrieval of information, provide supervision of the Driver admin Assistant to perform assigned roles and responsibilities, organise project/programme meetings, travels, seminars, preparing regular reports and correspondences and other project related activities, and liaise with partners for their equipment and material requests and entering of same on to Sightsavers Standard List.
As the successful candidate you will have a degree or tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Administration/Management or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized Tertiary institution, possess good working experience in an administrative role of a reputable INGO, be competent in the use of Microsoft applications, and have excellent written and spoken communication skills.
