• Must be a fluent English speaker

Kids and Babies Academy is hiring a preschool English teacher for September 2021 to June
2022.
KBA (Kids and Babies Academy) is located in the capital of Senegal, Dakar.
Dakar is sunny and the weather is beautiful all year long. We are surrounded by the beach and have a beautiful coastline. The school is beachfront facing and we are in a very secure and safe area where the official US embassy school and French embassy school are located.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and implement classroom lesson plans.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and any other events as requested.
• Assist and supervise children during all activities.
• Develop, plan, and prepare materials for classroom activities in advance.
• Ensure that all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used properly.
• Maintain the classroom keep, safe and organized.
• Direct activities of assistant teachers in the classroom.
• Communicate appropriate information to parents in a professional manner; maintain developmental profiles for children.
• Submit daily and monthly reports
• Schedule and conduct parent/teacher conferences twice a year.
